Bad News Doctor 醫生的壞消息

Tony was scheduled to meet with his doctor today
and was eager to find out his test results.
His sister Maria had been begging him to go for a checkup for quite some time.
He waited patiently in the exam room for the doctor to come.
Ten minutes passed when his doctor finally stepped into the room.
As he approached, he said, “Well, Tony, I’ve got your test results back,
and there are two pieces of news.”
“What are they?” Tony replied.
“Well, one is bad and the other one is really bad,” said the doctor.
“There’s no good news?” Tony asked.
The doctor just shook his head. “I’m afraid you only have 24 hours to live,” the doctor said.
“24 hours! That’s horrible. What could be worse than that?” Tony yelled.
The doctor nervously looked down at his file and said, “I’ve been trying to reach you since yesterday.”
東尼今天安排要去看醫生，
他急著想要得知檢查的結果。
他姊姊瑪麗亞求他去做健康檢查有一段時間了。
他在檢查室裡耐心地等待醫生前來。
過了十分鐘，醫生終於走進房間。
醫生過來時，說道：「那麼，東尼，我拿到你的檢查報告了，
有兩個消息要告訴你。」
東尼回說：「分別是什麼呢？」
醫生說：「這個嘛，有一個是壞消息，另一個是更壞的消息。」
東尼問道：「沒有好消息嗎？」醫生搖搖頭。醫生說：「恐怕你只剩二十四小時能活。」
東尼喊道：「二十四小時！太可怕了。還有什麼能比這個更慘的呢？」
醫生緊張地低頭看著他的檔案說：「我從昨天就設法要找到你。」
