visual acuity的解釋是：視覺靈敏度

Eye charts measure visual acuity only,
so they are just one part of a complete eye exam.

They do help your eye doctor figure out

for your distance vision.

I have 20/20 vision. 我兩眼都是2.0


In the United States, the standard placement
of the eye chart is on a wall that's 20 feet away from your eyes.

想要問別人近視幾度時，你可以說:
Ans:How strong are your glasses?
*What's the power of your glasses?
*What's the strength (強度) of your glasses?

Ans: I have 20/20 vision. (20除以20就是視力1.0)
*20/20指的是可以看到20 feet以外的視力表,以下圖片就是視力表(Snellen chart),自己可以做除法就知道,如果視力20/40 vision, 就是0.5了

台灣常用的Decimal Acuity,也就是一般1.0/0.8之類的記錄方式，而國外比較常用Snellen Acuity,記錄方式是20/20, 20/40之類.
