Dumping a bucket of ice water over your head has become the rage among celebrities.

How did this fad start? On July 16, Chris Kennedy, a golfer from Florida,

was nominated by a friend to do the Ice Bucket Challenge.

當頭澆下一桶冰水已經在名人之前成為一股風潮。

這股狂熱是從何時開始的？來自佛羅里達的高爾夫球選手克里斯‧

甘迺迪在今年的七月十六日被他的一個朋友點名進行冰桶挑戰。

The ice bucket challenge is: dump a bucket of ice water over your head,

donate to a charity of your choice,

then nominate three other people to do the ice bucket challenge.

Kennedy chose to give to a charity for ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,

also known as Lou Gehrig's disease,

is an neurological disease that attacks a patient's nerve cells).

甘迺迪選擇捐款給為ALS(肌萎縮性脊髓側索硬化症，

也被稱為葛雷氏症，

是一種傷害人體神經細胞的神經元疾病)患者成立的慈善機構。

This campaign went viral on social media,

and soon became popular because a former baseball player with ALS,

Pete Frates, took the challenge himself.

Celebrities including Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Lebron James,
